How do you treat your magnificent body?

Do you do these things to your body:

  • Survive on minimal sleep
  • Criticise its imperfections
  • Constantly judge it
  • Drown it with alcohol
  • Overload it with sugar
  • Starve it on new diets
  • Compare it to other bodies
  • Place never ending emotional stress on it
  • Fill it with junk food and processed food with no nutritional content
  • Force it to walk around in high heels out of alignment all day
  • Hurt it through bad posture
  • Carry a big heavy bag on one shoulder
  • Eat food full of artificial flavourings, artificial sweeteners and artificial ingredients
  • Surround it with harsh chemicals and toxins and bleaches etc in your home
  • Stuff it with food until it hurts

Or do you do these things to your body:

  • Constantly tell it how amazing it is
  • Nourish it
  • Fill it with fresh colourful fruit and vegetables with lots of vitamins and minerals
  • Appreciate the incredible things it can do
  • Thank it for the never ending things it does for you every single day with a break – pumping blood, breathing, thinking, moving etc
  • Provide it a toxin free environment to minimise the environmental impact on it
  • Give it protein to fuel muscles and energy
  • Hydrate it with fresh water
  • Stretch it
  • Move it / exercise it
  • Give it rest and relaxation
  • Massage it
  • Moisturise it/provide it with sunscreen protection

And what results do you get?  Does your body love you and fill you with joy?  Do you wake up refreshed and feeling never ending vitality and energy?  Does your body bring you happiness?  Are you proud of your body?

What if you started to love your body more so it can love you more in return????  What could you do to make your body sing?

  1. What a wonderful reminder of how we need to treat our bodies with kindness and less negativity.
    I had a super dooper hydration facial today. It was such a treat and I relished every moment of it. I’m choosing to put my best face (and body) forward in 2017!

    • And look at your recent wedding photos – you are stunningly beautiful. What is there not to adore about your body???? You go girl. The year of body love, body kindness and feeling good about our amazingness. Changing our thoughts can change our reality. x

  2. I definitely do a bit of both. Hopefully in 2017 it’ll be more of the second list!
    A great post to remind us that our body is a truly amazing thing that we should be looking after!!
